For those of you who do not know , I am in the planning stages of building an upper for my 4 year old daughter. I have time , as long as the Good Lord lets me stay on this earth, I plan to have it ready for her when she turns 7. So I am gathering information and learning as I go. I have my upper choice narrowed to either a DPMS Lo Pro or a PSA blemished. $ is a factor. I am still gathering tools and such to build this. I've never built an AR before but I did take a Win 94 apart and put it back together once so it cant be nearly as difficult as that. I'm a tinkerer by nature and always love to see how things work. I haven't bought factory bullets except for the odd occasion. So I am good with reloading for anything I have, that s not an issue. Like I said , I have time to do this as long as the Lord keeps giving me days. I think it'd be way cool if my daughter got a rifle that I built , thatd be something she would always cherish I hope.
