I wish something like the Howa Mini or a SAKO Vixen in 6.5 Grendel had been available when I was a kid.
That would have been much easier to get trigger time with than our Model 70 in .270 Winchester.
I think the closest thing might have been a 250-3000 Savage, which wasnt that popular or well-known.
Next was my Grandpas .257 Roberts.

I never looked or thought of getting one but it was on my local gun shops shelf and fit him well, should work well for him and my 6 yoa once he gets older.
