BCHunter I think you will like the Kaw Valley linear comp. I have it on both of my rifles. I have not shot either without ear protection but I can tell from the felt concussion a big difference between it and a regular birdcage that was originally on the BCA 20" upper I have. It projects muzzle blast down range.
My Oden works 18" barrel is also a joy to shoot. It shoots about anything you put in it decent but just down right shoots with worked up handloads. Factory Hornady SST or loads with 123 SST bullet are probably the worst though. It as well as the BCA just does not really like that bullet. 120 Speer GD and Sierra PH really shoots well with IMR 8208. I don't have a picture to add, haven't tried to post pictures yet, but I used a 15" STNGR handguard and it is really light and is really easy to mount on the rifle.
