Can for 12 inch grendel sbr

At this point after getting to try several cans on my 12.5 inch over the last 3 weeks, this is what my decision is.

It ain't worth the trouble and hassle of the paperwork and dealing with the government and the price to buy into it.

If I still have to wear hearing protection while useing the can then it's a waist of my time, energy, effort and money.

So moving on to other toys, no can for me.

A5, which cans have you tried, out of curiosity? To get my 12” where I feel it’s hearing safe required me to tune gun to stop all the port pop. I run an adjustable gas block, H3 buffer, and super stiff 458 socom buffer spring in a pistol brace setup. It’s REALLY nice like that. I can put my can on an 18” rifle length gas with H2, adjustable GB, and rifle spring and it’s just about as good. Having said that, my hearing is probably not as sensitive as some folks, due to prior damage shooting without ear pro in snap situations. If I wake up at 2am and everything is dead quiet, I hear a constant ringing. It sucks.
