You want something more quiet than an Ultra 9? I've been around suppressors in the military, OCONUS with the top-end Euro cans, and have RO'd or spotted for countless people with a lot of the later generation cans on the market. I have yet to hear anything with supers that is more quiet than an Ultra 9 that is 1.5" diameter.
The Ultra 9 is at the threshold of what a 1.5" diameter suppressor will provide across the industry. I'm not aware of any cans in its diameter class that will get much below 133-136dB with .308, and 130dB with 5.56. You definitely aren't going to match them for accuracy, suppression, lightweight, and repeatability all in one package.
There are several reasons why they are chosen by competitive shooters, hunters, and .mil. The new Dominus is going to change things a lot in the QD suppressor world.
