I have only owned one B & C stock which was for a Rem 700 - the varmint tactical model and it worked fine. I fitted a m5 dbm to it, and ran a 700 .223 out of it with MDT mags.
The Howa grendel is a whitetail hunting rifle for my daughter and I. She is 13, so I had to cut the factory buttstock to work for her AND to do so when she has on a coat, etc. for cold weather. The finished LOP with pad is 12.5". It's short, but I make it work for me when hunting b/c she and I sit together and I only carry one rifle.
The B & C m40 LOP is too long for her. I'm going to give them a call and see if they can do a finished LOP of 12.5". If not, I'll cut it myself.
The Sharps Bros heatseaker chassis for the mini looks really cool and for the money would be a great option. However, after having an accidental mag dump with DPI bottom metal and mag release during the 2019 season while shooting at a coyote I sold all my dbm and mags.
Running a HPK floorplate this season has been flawless without worry.
