Should I buy Starline or Hornady brass?

I have a barrel on the way, need to load some ammo, and I am on the fence between Starline and Hornady brass.

I don't want thick brass that will cause early pressure signs. I see Starline's other brass can be thick (.223, 6.8).

Has anybody here determined if Starline's 6.5 G brass has reduced capacity? From my searching on this site, it appears as though it weighs less than Hornady and has a thinner case head.

    Thanks.

I would buy starline. I am going to buy starline. Though it might be more economical to buy loaded ammo.

Search this section for "Starline" in the thread title. There is one thread that has all the measurements and specs. Looks to be lighter = more case volume than Hornady via thinner case head.

I have been using Starline for years in other calibers. It is high quality brass. Lapua, Starline, and Hornady cases are all high quality brass.
I would choose one and stick with it, saves the time working up loads.

I did, and I saw that thread. It is lighter, which does suggest the internal capacity is not lower, but that is not always the case.

Anyways, thank you all for the replies, imma buy some.

I have both and can say I will never buy Hornady 6.5G brass again.

I was one of the first if not the first to have the new brass (blessings of living down the road from Starline and Sierra ) and although I was TDY and didnt get to play much with them, I did get asked about some measurements on them. I am home now and got to throw em in the calipers and on scale so here we go. I took

Not that I won't use the Hornady from factory ammo but, I wont buy it new anymore.
