    I used 8208 in 20" 223 wilde barrels 1:7-1:8, 75gr hornady and 77smk. I have tried many powders and love 8208.
I am having very good results in the grendel and it is my accuracy powder.
Funny i load for a 6.5 creedmoor and never thought of using 8208. Probably due to great results with h4350, 4451 and R16.

So far I have tried TAC, R15 and today will be an ARComp ladder. Running 123g Nosler CC and 123g Sierra MK. Today is the first round with the MK's. TAC and R15 both run under .75 with the Noslers. Looking to tighten it up even more with the MK's.

Looks like 8208 is a good choice in a versatile go-to. My first handloads will be with the Sierra 107-grain SMK once I shoot up the Hornady American Gunner bulk ammo.

            Has anyone tried Accurate 2230?
It shoots great for me in my 556's and I have a bunch of it.
I intend to try it and see, just wondering if anyone had any experience.

Thank you Bill. Somehow I forgot about that manual.

Has anyone here used it enough to have an opinion on it?

Burn rate is a bit fast for most Grendel loads, but there is a bunch of data for it with lighter bullets. There are better powders for the lighter 85-95gr loads that generate faster speeds, so I would look at them before AA2230.

Hardly enough of my 8lb of A2460 is left to start load development with but it flows & works so well & clean in my AR w/62gr+ I figgered since it was a little slower than A2230 it could be a good choice at the lighter end for GRR

If you want a great Accuracy powder look into H322 for that 120 range projectile. You would think it would be to fast, but many are getting amazing consistency/accuracy with H322 and 120ELDM.

H322 is a long time favorite of the 6 PPC benchrest guys. 6 PPC and Grendel are very similar in case capacity.

believe it or not i use a lee auto drum for my rifle rounds on my lee four hole turret press. with ball powder my drops are always .01 of each other and with stick i get .03. if im loading for bench shooting i weigh out by hand.
