I finally got these bullets shooting great after changing scope. Went to a cross hair 1-8 from a red dot 1-6. 3 in bullseye @100 yards. Love these bullets, price is great. Waiting on my rebate.

I think ill order up some of these myself to try with cfe223 and H335. Does anyone have an idea what the average velocity needed for good terminal expansion for the 120 GD? I cant seam to find anything online. thanks. I'm currently just shooting a 12 inch pistol but plan to get a 20 inch in future. This bullet isn't in quickload but I think I can manually plug in data to get a rough idea for trajectory.

At around the 15:11 mark in this video is a discussion and gel test of the 120 grain Speer Gold Dot fired in the Grendel @2350 FPS.

In this video two hogs were shot, and three bullets recovered with the 120 grain Speer GD @ 85 Yards from a 6.5 Grendel (@4:39 mark in the video).

All in all, the bullet is too new for much definitive data yet. But so far looking good and I would estimate a 1800 FPS + threshold for expansion which means it should be good out to about 350 yds..
