Geissele High speed match. Currently with DMR springs, but I have the springs for service, and match. I have a second lighter weight lower (carbine stock vrs PRS) with an RRA 2 stage, that I sometimes put the Grendel upper on, but not often.
What triggers are you guys running in your Grendels?

I think I will try the Jewell in my Grendel once GreatScott has them back in supply. I have a Geissele High Speed match on my 260 AR that I set up using Geissele's own YouTube video. First time I shot that build using single rounds the trigger was great. Broke like glass with the second stage set to about one pound more than the first. Then I put 2 rounds in my Mag and they both went on one trigger pull. Ran the test to see if the hammer was catching before the trigger release, and it was. Went home and tightened the pull weight and extended the sear overlap. Now there are no double fires. However, I can feel the slide across the sear, and it's just not as nice a break as it was before. I could see how far I can get with lightening the trigger and shortening the sear overlap, but I don't know if I would feel safe with the result. I have a Jewell on my bolt gun and it is simply sweet. Some people are of the opinion that the Jewell hammer strike is not enough for military grade AR ammo. That may well be true, but since I won't have any military ammo for my Grendel, that is no longer a consideration. The Grendel currently has the stock trigger from a CMMG lower kit. It's a dismal trigger.
