what base for howa mini

That is exactly what I needed to know.
For the .823” rings, Badger lists a bottom of scope ring to top of base dimension of .232”, which would be a “low” ring in most manufacturers.

I think I’ll try the Burris Xtreme tactical rings in the low height and report back. They are showing .25” bottom of ring to top of base.

You should have clearance with the Burris. I had a set, but I really did not need the triple screw (extra wide) and it actually caused me eye relief issues as I could not move the scope rearward enough. The tower was right up against the ring, and the cross bolts were in the rearmost slot. YMMV

yep i finaly got ahould of leupold and confirmed that there info was for the mini howa also , didnt not say on there website. The 51701 were correct bases and worked perfectly.

Weaver two piece for the Rem 700 are on mine. Altho they fit just fine... But the heights are off. I had to shim my rear .030 to get back into the adj range of my scope.

I have a MOA base on order and soon It will arrive and I will remount it with the scope and head back to the range!
