Toolcraft and from my understanding Odion both use a non standard length fireing pin.

The company's listed above bolts work with a standard length fireing pin.
Just passing the info along, Ballistic Advantage bolts, and therefore BCGs, are also GTG. I just confirmed this, measured my BA bolt at 2.810". So with these there is no need to source or worry about an odd, shortened firing pin.

Lowmass bcg and lowmass buffer and adjustable gas reduces the recoil of the rifle add to that a muzzle brake and it's stupid how light a rifle will recoil.

And it's not hard to find the parts to complete the bcg.

        Fireing pin
        Retaining pin
Cam pin from joebobs 20 bucks

Bolt from Maxim firearms 75 plus shipping

        Not that hard

Ok few questions if I go with RTB low mass Carrier could I get away with keeping my spring and just changing to a lite weight buffer? Or would I have to change the spring also? Could I keep my carbine buffer and STD spring with using a adjustable Gas block? Next would a low mass carrier be worth it on a hunting upper?

Yes you can use the lowmass bcg with standard springs and buffers.

Kak sells aluminum buffer weights if you feel you want to go lighter.

But it will work just fine with standard buffer and buffer spring.

Is it worth it in a hunting rifle? All I can add to that is to me lower felt recoil and less rifle movement on the shoot is always worth it.

Thank you A5. Last question would adding the spring make it more reliable than with just the LM BCG and adjustable GB?

                  What spring?

My 16 inch uses lowmass bcg, adjustable gas and a standard carbine spring and buffer and has been perfectly reliable.
Felt recoil and gun movement is stupid soft but if I wanted to reduce it more I would have to go to a reduced powered carbine spring and add aluminum weights to my carbine buffer.

With how well the gun runs and how light the recoil is and how lil gun movement I get when shooting I don't feel the need to go to the reduced powered spring and lighter weight buffer.

Hope this helps and has been to confusing.

Im pretty sure i have 2 of the monster bolts from the last group buy that have never been used. They were 58.50 shipped so if your interested in matching that i will look for them tomorrow when i get home.

I use a cryptic coatings bcg/bolt that does not use standard firing pin so no use for them.
