Imaguy3, thanks for sharing. Glad you gave him a dirt nap. Interesting scope reticle. What brand?

Imaguy thanks, I have quite a few of the vortex scopes. Hard to beat them.

Killed 2 groundhogs Wednesday @ 50 and 100yds. Big exit holes somewhere around tennis ball to fist sized exit holes.

Cool, so they aren't just passing through but expanding or coming apart. The large holes are to be expected with expansion on such a small animal. With SST, we sometimes get piglets nearly blown in two but don't get similar results on larger hogs, LOL.

Sounds about like what Sierra Match Kings do SOME TIMES. Other times they just go through like a drill bit.

so far for me they're expanding well... quite well... almost too well for me to want to use them on anything bigger than predators/nuisance animals

Had an hour this morning and setup a stand. Big dog came trotting in and I hit it head on about 75 yards. The little pup then came trotting across from my left at about 50 yards, smoked him. I was using American Gunner again. I love this bullet for predators but I am going to stand by Hornady's recommendation of not good for
