I thought about doing an exchange with Optics Planet but if they got a bunch of these barrels that were made with this issue the exchanging won't do any good.
I actually sent in my upper to Aero a day before I discovered this is issue, thinking the upper might be bad. The barrel would not seat all the way into the receiver so that the feed ramps are flush with the feed ramps cutouts in the receiver.
I'd be willing to bet that the barrel issue is what caused this problem too."I prefer dangerous freedom over peaceful slavery."

Sent the barrel back to Faxon today. Now I get to wait. I've been wanting to build a grendel for a couple years so I get to wait a little longer."I prefer dangerous freedom over peaceful slavery."

I had two run-in's with Faxon's customer service, my experience was exceptional as both times they took care of my issues and had it shipped back the same day or the very next day back to me. Will note no tracking was forwarded and the return mail was 2nd day delivery. Also to add on the second go around it took a couple days to get a response from Mark, but once he responded he seemed to stay right on top of it.
