Many may not know it was the 6.5 Grendel that inspired them in the first place. With the long range shooting I like to do with it, I wanted a quality 20 MOA mount as I was not happy with the performance of the popular QD mounts on the market for a long range precision rifle. As I said the NF mount is nice, but at the time I had 34mm and 35mm scopes I wanted to use. So, I designed and made my own mounts.
There are a lot more mounts available on the market now than there were back then so my mounts are no longer the only solution, but especially with the refinements I've made to the design I firmly believe them to be among the best.
