Probably a stupid question but what is the difference in the Monster 20 and 16 group buys? Is the number just the barrel length? I'm interested in a 12" barrel.

SO.... can't decide which barrel length to get. I have a 20 " heavy barrel that I built and have right at 50 round through, but really would like a light profile barrel. I can't decide on the 16" or the 18". This would be a multi purpose hunting, shooting, competition gun so can't decide. any ideas?

16 inch but these barrels aren't profiled to be light weight

My 16" faxon is right at 8 lbs with scope and everything so that's a pretty good wt for walking around... balances nicely too.

Are these Match barrels? Target crowned etc?

I can tell you they have the true sammi chamber, 5r EE rifling and I'm not sure but I believe mine has atarget crown, not for sure it wasn't a bare barrel long enough for me to remember.

Had it built into a upper 30 mints after I opened the package.

Mine loves eld-m factory ammo and has proved itself to 400 yards already, check my build thread on it there is some target pics up.

This barrel will serve you well.
