The website states 2000 fps. If we added a large polymer tip, it should lower that threshold, I'd think.

What were the impact speeds of these, from left to right:

Beautiful mushrooms! But, yes, the amount of mushrooming within a given velocity window must be designed in. It is pretty much the nub of this particular exercise in bullet design, since high BC form factors in 6.5mm projectiles are well-known. What hasn't been thoroughly tested is expansion velocities.
